April 2025 Newsletter

From the Apostle's Desk

Dear Beloved Congregants,

As the days lengthen and the earth awakens, we are reminded of the glorious truth that lies at the heart of our faith: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The empty tomb stands as a powerful testament to His victory over sin and death, a victory that extends to each and every one of us.

"He is not here; He has risen, just as He said." (Matthew 28:6) These words, spoken by the angel, echo through the ages, proclaiming the life-transforming power of our risen Savior. This resurrection power is not merely a historical event; it is a living reality that empowers us to overcome the challenges we face and to embrace the new life He offers.

Just as the earth springs forth with new growth after a long winter, we are invited to spring forth in our faith, embracing the new beginnings that Christ makes possible. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

This season of renewal is an opportune time to consider how we can apply the resurrection power in our daily lives. Perhaps it means:

  • Forgiving a long-held grudge: Just as Christ forgave us, we are called to extend forgiveness to others, releasing ourselves from the burdens of resentment.

  • Stepping out in faith to serve: Consider a new ministry or outreach opportunity where you can use your gifts to bless others.

  • Renewing your commitment to prayer and study: Deepen your relationship with God through consistent communion and reflection on His word.

  • Embracing a new creative endeavour: Allow the Holy Spirit to inspire you with new ideas and projects that bring glory to God.

  • Breaking free from old habits: Allow the power of the Resurrected Christ to help you overcome those things that are holding you back.

Let us not be afraid to step out of our comfort zones and embrace the new things God is calling us to. "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams1 in the wasteland." (Isaiah 43:18-19).

Let this Easter season be a time of genuine transformation, a time when we truly experience the resurrection power of Christ in our lives. May we all spring forward, filled with hope and renewed purpose, ready to serve Him with joy and enthusiasm.

May God richly bless you and your families.

With love and prayers!
